Advance Standing

Advance standing is that status given a student who has met the minimal prerequisites for a particular course either by taking a course of similar nature from another institution or credit by examination. Students attaining this status are exempted from taking the prerequisite courses; however, they must meet the minimal credit hour requirement for graduation at the particular level of graduation they have applied.
