Faculty Bio

Abdul Shaikh has been teaching for the past seven years. He taught and currently teaches various courses of Business Management, Project Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and H.R Management at different Higher educational institutions of Ontario, Canada. Abdul specializes in Online Teaching to International and domestic students using various Learning Management Systems, i.e., Sycamore, Zoom, Blackboard, Canvas, Brightspace, D2L, and M.S. Teams. In addition, he regularly takes Professional Development Courses to update his different professional skills. Mr. Shaikh is a firm believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace. He is a powerful force in the workplace and uses his positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage other faculty to work hard and succeed. Shaikh started his teaching career as a temporary Part-Time Instructor of the Business program at a private college in Toronto, Canada, from September 2011 to December 2012 (one semester). In January 2012, Abdul got an offer of Full-Time employment as a Project Manager at Linamar, a manufacturing plant in Guelph-Ontario, Canada. He remained there till December 2019. During his job at Linamar in 2015, he got a teaching assignment from Conestoga College, a well-renowned community college of Ontario located in beautiful Kitchener city. Conestoga college as a Partial load faculty of Project Management and Business Management. In September 2020, Abdul Shaikh again got an offer from two famous community colleges of Ontario. Abdul is currently working as an Associate Professor with Sheridan College – Brampton, ON, and Fanshawe College – London, ON. To become an effective educator, he has decided to do a Doctor of Business Administration (Project Management). Currently, he is in ABD status of his Doctorate and hopefully will be a Doctor by August 2022.
