Faculty Bio
Dr. Erika D.S. Richardson most recently served as the Director of Faculty Development in the Center for Faculty Excellence at Atrium Health. Prior to joining Atrium, Dr. Richardson was the Instructional Designer-Faculty Development Trainer for Enrollment and Student Services at Central Piedmont Community College.
Dr. Richardson has over fifteen years of extensive experience in development and assessment of learning outcomes, curriculum integration, educational planning, adult learning and learning theories. Dr. Richardson earned her Doctoral degree in Education, Curriculum and Teaching from Northeastern University. She received her Master’s degree in Instructional Technology and Education from Troy University and her Bachelor’s degree in English from NC State University.
In her spare time Dr. Richardson enjoys reading, shopping and spending time with her husband Bruce and two daughters Emery and Bryce.
