Faculty Bio

Farah Asgarli is an experienced accounting professional with strong academic and career background. She recently graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, where she received her Msc in accounting. Before coming to study in the U.S, she received an MBA degree from Odlar Yurdu University in Azerbaijan. She has obtained significant work experience in accounting, corporate financial reporting, taxation and auditing working for prestigious firms and international companies including Deloitte and General Electric. Additionally, she worked as an Accounting Tutor at the Department of Accounting & Business Law at Lamar University. She tutored courses like Financial Accounting and Intermediate Accounting.
