Faculty Bio

Dr. Riley earned a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Accounting, along with a Master degree in Business Administration. In addition, she is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for the past 22 years and holds the Certified Fraud Examiner credential (CFE). Dr. Riley has over two decades in higher education as Business faculty and System Coordinator to include all five Regional Campuses of Ohio University. Dr. Riley creates value for clients in industry and higher education from her extensive knowledge of public accounting, personal and business taxation, and higher education experience. Dr. Riley’s background also includes 30 years of work history includes being the owner and Managing Partner of a successful Public Accounting Firm to providing consulting work for corporations, including Dow Chemical, Dynegy, America Styrenics and Rumpke. Dr. Riley has over a decade of industrial experience with AlliedSignal (HoneyWell) performing a variety of corporate finance and accounting functions. Dr. Riley has also developed deep knowledge of corporate and personal taxation regulations.
