Faculty Bio

Professor Wayerski brings 11 years of higher education experience along with over 20 years of professional leadership experience. She teaches undergraduate and graduate classes in Business Management, Marketing, Organizational Leadership, and Human Resources. Her terminal degree is from Northcentral University in the studies of Organizational Leadership. Professor Wayerski published her dissertation about transformational leadership components as predictors of job satisfaction among millennials working in veterinary hospitals. She has an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Fort Hays State University. She holds a Master’s in Business from Baker University and a Master’s in Human Resources from Keller Graduate School of Management. She also does consulting for new business ventures and rebuilding brand identity. Professor Wayerski is very passionate and enjoys working with her students to help them achieve their academic and professional goals. She has served on several boards for animal care. Professor Wayerski enjoys spending time with her husband who is retired Navy and with their dog, Buster. She enjoys bike riding, swimming, and painting. Professor Wayerski is currently working on her first book and several peer-review journal articles.
