Faculty Bio

Mr. Prakash Ramoutar hails from the beautiful twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago. He is experienced in the field of Accounting, Finance and Internal Audit. He has a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, an MBA specializing in Finance and Accounting from the University of the Southern Caribbean and is currently pursuing a DBA with Herriot Watt University. He has also completed the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and he is also a qualified member of both institutions. Mr. Ramoutar teaches at different colleges and universities in his country and loves sharing accounting, finance and business related knowledge with his students. He has ongoing research interests in corporate governance, financial accounting, liquidity and internal audit.
