Faculty Bio
Rebekah Owens currently lives in Wentzville, Missouri, with her family and two mini-Dachshunds (Miss. Dash and Duke) that rule the household. She completed her Associate's Degree in Nursing in 2005 from St. Charles Community College. In 2011 she finished her BSN and August 2021, her MSN-Educational track, both from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. Rebekah's nursing background includes 16 years of critical care nursing. The last ten has been in a neurological, medical, surgical, and cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Her favorite thing to teach to her new nurses is the art of monitoring hemodynamics. Also, since 2006 Rebekah has been an active member of a medical mission team, taking one trip into Guatemala and the rest of the journies into Amazonas, Brazil, yearly. Besides being a nurse, traveling the world, Rebekah serves her time as a coordinator for Operation Christmas Child, dabbles in photography, scapbooking, and spending time with her family.
