Faculty Bio

Dexter Mark Godfrey Todd is renowned attorney at law who is admitted to the legal bar in Guyana and Belize. During his earlier legal education, Todd participated in several mooting competitions in which he received recognition for an excellent presentation; amongst those were The Philip C. Jessup international moot Court competition held in Washington DC, Lex Caribbean Regional Client interview competition held in Jamaica, and the National Youth Parliament Guyana. The Attorney possesses experiences in all areas of law and has litigated, from admission to bar to current, over 500 cases. In addition, he is a coach to many young attorneys and law students from both the University of Guyana and the Charisma University. To date, Todd holds a BSc in International Relations from the University of Guyana, LL. B from the University of Guyana, LL.M in ADR from Charisma University, LL.M in International Business Law from Cambria University in London. A MSc in Fraud and Risk Management from the University of Salford Manchester, an Honorary Doctorate from CICA International University & Seminary Houston Texas. Todd is currently a (Ph.D.) candidate at Charisma University perusing his Doctorate in Law, in which he is researching on the topic, “Emerging terrorist financing threats and vulnerabilities posed by new technologies,” under the keen supervision of Dr. Chinyere Chukwuka , Dr. Bethel U Ihugba and Dr. Nutcha Sukhawattanakun. Todd, a highly qualified attorney is also a Peace Ambassador, appointed by WHOMI to the United Nations and holds the title His Excellency Dr. Dexter Todd. Dr. Todd has such a passion for the development of legal jurisprudence internationally and is also the managing partner of Dexter Todd & Associates Law Firm, a firm which practices in all areas of Law.
