Charisma University is pleased to select Dr. Yahia Frances as the new Dean for the School of Psychology & Behavioral Sciences
Dr. Yahia Frances is a counselor with a private practice based in Weston, FL. She earned her Ph. D. in Mental Health Counseling and Educational Leadership from Barry University an MS in Dietetics and Nutrition and a MPH in Public Health from FIU and a BS in Journalism from FIU. Dr. Yahia is the Psychology Department Chair at Keiser University and has studied mind-body-spirit medicine for more than three decades, teaches mindfulness and is a consciousness coach.
Her background in mental health counseling, nutrition, and public health helped her create her own therapeutic model and coaching program that helps her clients gain personal insights and unlock the power of their own intuition by removing destructive subconscious programming. Frances has written two books: The Seven Gates: Seven Steps Beyond Self-Awareness & Witch Bitch, both to help readers release themselves from trauma and unhealthy subconscious patterns.
Dr. Frances Yahia serves clients nationally and internationally. Love, community, service and taking personal responsibility are the tenants Frances lives by.
The University Deans are administrators who lead their specific, respective academic units, which, in Charisma University, are called “schools.” These include the School of Business, School of Education, School of Law, and School of Psychology & Behavioral Sciences, School of Philosophy & Religion, & School of Health Sciences. Deans of Charisma’s individual schools report to the Chief Academic Officer/Provost. These Deans lead faculty members of their corresponding schools, establish academic policies, evaluate faculty members, and, participate in curriculum design. The Dean serves as the voice of the specific schools at meetings and activities of the Executive Leadership Committee.
