Students delve into the evidence base for nutrition’s impact on health status and learn strategies for preventing and managing major and acute diseases. Topics covered include Zika, diseases spread by mosquitoes, smoking, cancer with correct data interpretation, two natural plant foods with therapeutic potential, and specific restaurant practices for healthy outcomes.
