DNP 790 Infectious Disease Management in Nursing Practice


This course explores nursing and medical science relative to infectious diseases and their management. Through this course, candidates explore infectious diseases’ epidemiology to learn about protection, prevention, needs assessment, and risk analyses. Topics include the clinical management of the patient with an infectious disease or infection, the teaching/learning process in staff education, and other contemporary issues relevant to infectious diseases.
