Course Description

ECON 613 Managerial Economics explores the application of economic principles to topics of concern to managers, particularly strategy and competitive advantage. Students learn the appropriate frameworks, methods, and tools to predict managerial responses to changes in the business environment. This course combines the various business disciplines with quantitative methods to determine optimal solutions that more efficiently achieve a firm’s organizational objectives.
