ECON 667 Economic Institutions and Growth Policy Analysis

A course designed specifically for students interested in the practical problems of operating in formal organizations, either from a research or operational perspective. A the title suggests, the course focuses upon different forms of economic institutions and organizations in developed and developing economies and the theories that might help in understanding them.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand classic bureaucracy. Analyze culture, firm types and evolutionary theories.
  • Analyze the course content and relate the concepts to their own individual perspectives.
