This course introduces students to the relevant qualitative and quantitative methods for HR research. Attention is given to applicable metrics in HRM.
Learning Outcomes:
- Critically discuss what is meant by research in HR and how it contributes to effective policy and practice.
- Identify the various components of an effective research project and the skills needed to compare different approaches to HR research.
- Discuss the implications of being a ‘practitioner-researcher.’
- Apply qualitative and quantitative methods to HR research.
