This course will focus on theological and historical approaches in the study of Christian worship, while also giving appropriate attention to pastoral, cultural, and contemporary issues.

Learning Outcomes:

• To introduce the student in a biblical basis and theological rationale for authentic Christian worship.
• To learn and analyze various philosophical views of music and worship ministry based on biblical and theological perspectives.
• To synthesize historical and contemporary views of music and worship in the local church by creating their own philosophy of music and worship in the church.
