Course Description

“Foundations of Social Science Research” establishes the groundwork for effective research in the social sciences, exploring the logic and assumptions that underlie social research. Students will be exposed to various approaches to research design and methods, enabling them to develop their own projects.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Develop an understanding of commonly used quantitative techniques, including logit/probit models, event history models, count models, and pooled cross-section techniques.
  • Familiarize yourself with STATA data analysis and statistical software.
