Master of Public Health

Forge a career dedicated to advancing community health worldwide.

Charisma University’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program, with concentrations in epidemiology, international public health, environmental health, or public health systems, is designed for a global student body. This program combines academic and professional education with practical applications, preparing students for effective public health practice in their home countries.

Emphasizing both performance competency and affective development, the curriculum extends beyond knowledge-based learning, focusing on skills such as Internet and secondary research, as well as proficiency in software like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, and more. The program also includes a unique emphasis on developing creative, decision-making, and analytical skills.

For pre-career learners, a required 6-credit internship offers hands-on experience, as opposed to the standard 3-credit capstone course for other students, ensuring practical exposure in the field of public health.

  • Build a solid professional foundation in graduate-level public health studies.
  • Enhance global community well-being through education, scholarship, and service.
  • Develop as a competent, compassionate public health professional with leadership qualities.
  • Apply knowledge in epidemiology, environmental health, and public health systems to practical situations.
  • Cultivate critical thinking, effective communication, and integrity in public health roles.

Graduates from the MPH program are equipped for diverse roles in public health, including health services management, policy analysis, community health leadership, and research. They are prepared to address global health challenges, contribute to policy development, and lead health initiatives in various settings, from local communities to international organizations.
