Course Description

MENG 600 Project Cost Management examines project cost management from the broader
perspective of project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control in relation to time and risk.
In particular, the course emphasizes project costing and its intersections with time and risk and,
accordingly, cost management through planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control. Through
this course, students learn about financial strategies and cost management best practices for
successful projects, highlighting estimating, budgeting, and cost control. (Formerly MENG 600
Project Costing)
