Charisma University is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Yahia Frances as the new Dean of the School of Psychology & Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Frances brings a wealth of expertise and a diverse background in mental health counseling, nutrition, and public health to her role as the head of this academic unit.
Dr. Yahia Frances is a seasoned counselor with a private practice based in Weston, FL. She holds a Ph.D. in Mental Health Counseling and Educational Leadership from Barry University, an M.S. in Dietetics and Nutrition, an MPH in Public Health from FIU, and a B.S. in Journalism from FIU. Currently serving as the Psychology Department Chair at Keiser University, Dr. Frances has dedicated over three decades to the study of mind-body-spirit medicine. She is a mindfulness teacher and a consciousness coach.
In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Frances has developed a unique therapeutic model and coaching program, helping clients gain personal insights and unlock the power of their intuition by removing destructive subconscious programming. As an author of two impactful books, “The Seven Gates: Seven Steps Beyond Self-Awareness” and “Witch Bitch,” Dr. Frances aims to assist readers in releasing themselves from trauma and unhealthy subconscious patterns.
Dr. Frances serves clients nationally and internationally, embodying values of love, community, service, and personal responsibility in her work.
About University Deans at Charisma: University Deans at Charisma are integral administrators who lead specific academic units, known as “schools.” These include the School of Business, School of Education, School of Law, School of Psychology & Behavioral Sciences, School of Philosophy & Religion, and School of Health Sciences. Reporting to the Chief Academic Officer/Provost, Deans play a crucial role in leading faculty members, establishing academic policies, evaluating faculty, and participating in curriculum design. They also serve as the voice of their respective schools in the Executive Leadership Committee.
