Course Description

ACCT 306 Income Tax Accounting introduces students to fundamental concepts in income taxation, covering areas such as income tax, capital gains, fringe benefits, goods and services tax, taxation of capital gains and losses, deferred taxes, tax treatment of entities, anti-avoidance, and accounting techniques in income taxation. The course provides students with a technical accounting perspective on income taxes.
