Course Description

B.Ed 301 Educational Research provides an introduction to empirical research and range of research methodologies commonly used in the field of education. Through this course, students would develop skills for locating, understanding, evaluating, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative educational research. These skills will be assessed in this course through a major research project using either a quantitative or qualitative method. Topics covered in this course include philosophical perspectives in educational research projects, research design, critical approaches, and various quantitative and qualitative methods. (Formerly B.Ed 301 Educational Project Planning)
