This course introduces students to theories and practices of community education. This course explores foundational ideas relevant to community education, including diversity in communities and the importance of empowerment, inclusion, citizenship, and participation. Other topics covered in this course include community resources for schooling and learning, pedagogies for community-based learning and teaching, and global approaches for community education
