Course Description

This course explores the assessments teachers make based on evidence to be able to establish, organize, and monitor classroom characteristics. These classroom attributes include student learning, interpersonal relationships, social adjustment, instructional design and content, and classroom climate. Through this course, students learn the tasks teachers must undertake to evaluate the classroom. This course is designed to follow the progression of teachers’ classroom evaluation, from organizing the classroom as a social setting to planning and delivering instruction to the formal assessment of student learning, to grading, and finally to providing results and feedback to students. Therefore, this course covers a broad range of evaluation approaches and tools
