Course Description

BHIT 304 explores contemporary leadership theories and models related to tourism and hospitality. Throughout this course, students will acquire knowledge of the most relevant leadership approaches essential for ensuring success in tourism enterprises, with special emphasis on destination leadership. Students will learn how destination leadership needs to be treated and understood in relationship to governance arrangements, power structures, and social networks among leaders.
