Course Description

This course explores the intricate relationship between people and the environment, emphasizing the impact on health and physical well-being for individuals, communities, and susceptible populations. The course delves into health issues, scientific understanding of environmental causes, and potential approaches to control major environmental problems globally. Students learn methodologies and paradigms in environmental science, spanning ecology (environment, aquatic, and terrestrial), epidemiology, environmental psychology, toxicology, genetics, and ethics. The course introduces students to the latest developments in environmental health.
