Course Description

This course provides students with a comprehensive introduction to qualitative methodologies used in health care research. The course covers high-level theoretical content of philosophies within qualitative methodologies and explores qualitative research processes aligned with theoretical assumptions. Students learn to develop a qualitative research project and explore the potential integration of qualitative and quantitative methods in health sciences research, emphasizing evidence-based practice, practice development, and research translation.
