Course Description

ECON 310 Intermediate Macroeconomics Theory examines modern macroeconomic theory and models. In this course, students learn macroeconomic models with explicit and rigorous foundations and the evolution of macroeconomics theory, shifting from ad hoc models toward models with scientific foundations. Students also learn to address conceptually difficult macroeconomic issues through simple models.

  • Understand modern macroeconomic theories and models.
