Course Description

This course provides an introduction to significant formal approaches in rational choice theory, with a specific focus on collective choice theory. Students will explore the characteristics of processes that aggregate individual preferences into social preferences or establish a transparent criterion for collective choice within a society. The course will also delve into the examination of collective decision-making through voting mechanisms.
