Course Description

HRM 432 Safety in the Workplace explores the methods used to prevent incidents and ensure employee health in the workplace. Students learn why workplace safety is a persistent global challenge, particularly why human factors rather than technological issues contribute to the scale of the challenge. This course also explores the relationships of organizational culture, leadership, and organizational learning with safety and occupational health effectiveness.
