Course Description

In this course, we explore the origins of equity and the foundational principles underpinning equity and trust law. Students will critically assess the application of these principles to real-world situations, examining how they impact individuals in their daily lives. Additionally, we delve into the reconciliation of these principles with those governing the establishment of express trusts, the imposition of trusts by law, and how equity and trust laws adapt to changing social conditions.

  • Gain an understanding of the nature and functioning of trust law.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in applying principles of equity and trust to real-world scenarios.
  • Discuss the adaptability of equity and trust laws to changing social circumstances.
