Course Description

MKT 275 Entrepreneurial Marketing examines the temporal and spatial dimensions of entrepreneurial marketing in the context of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to address differences in marketing operations. Through this course, students learn the marketing strategies that successful entrepreneurs and SMEs adopt and how lessons learned might be transferred to new situations.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Explore the fundamentals of marketing within the context of SMEs.
  • Understand the nature of the marketing environment within which SMEs operate.
  • Critically analyze the causal textures and factors that influence SMEs.
  • Learn and discuss the techniques and tools of marketing analyses (and planning) and the various ways to formulate appropriate marketing.
