BUS 425 Leading Organizations

This course will use Gill Hickman’s Leading Organizations from SAGE Publications. The book features several discussions from different business authors. Thus, students will be introduced mainly to these divisions: inherent leadership context and concepts, relationship between leader and participant in organizations, strategic management and implementation, and organizational cultures.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand the relevance of critical reflection practices in leadership development.
  • Incorporate critical reflective practices in a leadership development program.
  • Build on previous experiences of leadership and to incorporate new learning.
  • Comprehend processes that encourage multiple perspectives to be generated in order to excel in complex and uncertain environments.
