Course Description

This course introduces students to the processes and constructs of non-formal education. Students will discuss several alternative approaches to program and curriculum evaluation in non-formal education sectors, with a focus on the integration of theory and practice. 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand the elements of non-formal education and non-formal educational programs.
  • Understand the aspects of professional and vocational education, adult literacy training, and lifelong learning.
  • Learn how and where to avail of non-formal education and curricula.
  • Understand several alternative approaches to program and curriculum evaluation in non-formal education sectors, with a focus on integrating theory and practice.
