Course Description

This course adopts a critical lens on organizational leadership. Students will be introduced mainly to these divisions: inherent leadership context and concepts, the relationship between leader and participant in organizations, strategic management and implementation, and organizational cultures. 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand the relevance of critical reflection practices in leadership development.

  • Incorporate critical reflective practices in a leadership development program.

  • Build on previous experiences of leadership and to incorporate new learning.

  • Comprehend processes that encourage multiple perspectives to be generated in order to excel in complex and uncertain environments.
