Charisma University, a renowned accredited institution based in the United States and the Turks & Caicos Islands, is proud to announce its upcoming expansion into Sri Lanka. The university plans to open two new physical branch campuses in Negombo and Colombo to offer its highly regarded accredited degree programs on ground.
Key Regulatory Approvals Secured
Charisma University has successfully obtained critical regulatory approvals within Sri Lanka to ensure compliance with national educational and professional standards:
- University Grants Commission (UGC) Approval: The UGC, the highest authority regulating tertiary institutions and degree-awarding powers in Sri Lanka, has officially approved Charisma University to operate and deliver its accredited programs within the country.
- Sri Lanka Legal Council Approval: The council has granted approval for Charisma University to offer its professional Law degree programs.
- Sri Lanka Nursing Council Approval: The council has approved the university to deliver its healthcare-focused Nursing degree programs.
Looking Ahead to Launch
The establishment of the Negombo and Colombo campuses remains pending final administrative approval from Charisma University’s respective institutional accrediting bodies.
Once these accrediting bodies grant final clearance for the Sri Lankan branches, Charisma University will officially open its doors. The university looks forward to welcoming its inaugural cohort of students to state-of-the-art, on-ground campuses, delivering world-class education and globally recognized degrees locally.
