Charisma University is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Mark Doctoroff as the new Chairman of its Board of Governance. Dr. Doctoroff brings to this role a remarkable blend of academic expertise, entrepreneurial acumen, and a wealth of experience in education, consulting, and international development.
Dr. Doctoroff’s extensive background encompasses a diverse array of educational experiences. He has served as an educator at universities in Canada, the United States, Australia, and Malaysia, engaging with both traditional “face-to-face” and innovative online educational programs. Beyond his academic contributions, he has actively participated in technical and vocational education and training programs in Canada, as well as in 11 countries across the Eastern Caribbean and Latin America.
In the realm of consulting, Dr. Doctoroff has left an indelible mark on the public and private sectors, as well as international development organizations. His consultancy work has taken him to more than 50 countries, where he has collaborated with senior executives on complex issues related to healthcare, socio-economic development, and industrial progress. Remarkably, he boasts a track record of launching, directing, and managing eight successful businesses for 20 years.
During his tenure in Australia, Dr. Doctoroff served as the senior economic and business commentator for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, while also holding a professorship in a Graduate School of Business. His extensive body of work includes several books, numerous articles, and over 250 consulting reports, some of which were commissioned by “Presidential and Royal Commissions.”
Charisma University extends heartfelt appreciation to Dr. James Law, who diligently served as the Chairman of the University’s Board of Governance for seven years. Dr. Law’s contributions significantly contributed to Charisma University’s successes, and he will continue to be an invaluable member of the Board of Governance.
